·Undergraduate Program:

Applicants should be foreign students with a senior high school diploma, and should be no younger than 18 years old.

• According to the regulations released by Ministry of Education, China, if parent(s) was (were) a Chinese citizen settling in a foreign country at the time applicants were born, applicants must have obtained their current foreign citizenship for at least 4 years; meanwhile, in the latest 4 years (by each April 30th of the year), the applicants must have lived overseas for 2 years (Living overseas for 9 months can be converted to 1 year, which is subject to the exit-entry stamp on visa).

•Applicants should be in good health, be virtuous, be willing to abide by the laws and decrees of China and the rules and regulations of Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and respect Chinese traditions, customs, and social morality.

• Applicants should have the certificate of HSK4 with the score above 180.

·Postgraduate Program:

The applicant should,

1. be a foreigner with a valid passport;

2. have successfully completed a bachelor degree or a master degree;
3. have IELTS score (6 or above)/ TOFEL score (80 or above), or have HSK5/6 certificate, or pass the language proficiency test in interview organized by SWUPL.

Those whose mother tongue or official language is English, or those who obtain a bachelor diploma from an English speaking country are not required to provide English proficiency certificate;

4. be healthy physically and psychologically, and with good virtue.   

Chinese Language Program:

Applicants should,

• be foreign students with a senior high school or university diploma;

 • be in good health, be virtuous, be willing to abide by the laws and decrees of China and the rules and regulations of SWUPL, and respect Chinese traditions, customs, and social morality;

• be no younger than 18 years old and no older than 45 years old.
